Executive Chef Mio Ogasawara serves up Las Vegas’ most savory desserts at Sweets Raku. The Japanese pastry eatery and wine cellar is a YouTube favorite, and Chef Ogasawara has appeared on the Cooking Channel, dishing up innovative and delicious sweets in one of the city’s most unique and memorable dining experiences. Following her graduation from confectionary school, Chef Ogasawara honed her craft for nine years as a pastry chef in Ehime, Nagasaki, and Tokyo. While pursuing her pastry chef career, Mio also entered numerous candy art competitions, earning many top prizes and awards for her whimsical candy creations. After catching the eye of Mitsuo Endo, Raku restaurant owner Mitsuo Endo, Chef Ogasawara joined him in Las Vegas in 2013.
