A Grand Taste of UNLVino
UNLVino’s Grand Tasting caps off two days of indulging in the city’s best food, wine, and sake. Over 2,500 attendees will walk through the doors of Paris’ ballroom on Saturday, April 1st to savor in a variety of gastronomic delights. In addition to seven unique cuisine stations showcasing hors d’oeuvres by UNLV’s Hotel College Culinary Team, UNLVino’s culminating event will offer foodies an array of small bites prepared by 18 of Las Vegas’ most popular restaurants.
The students of the UNLVino Capstone Course organized a successful Menu Tasting Event at UNLV last week to showcase the delectable foods the team will be serving during the Grand Tasting. The seven food stations are slated to provide a variety of options for diverse appetites that include everything from international cuisine, seafood, skewer and meat station to a comfort food station, desserts, and two stations with artisanal cheeses, breads and meats.
UNLVino revelers will have the opportunity to sample popular hors d’oeuvres prepared by UNLV’s Hotel College Culinary Team that include tomato bisque and grilled cheese, shrimp, gluten-free ravioli, Philly cheesesteak bites, crab cakes, Italian sausage skewers, and bacon-wrapped peppers.
